Enjoy and relax to the sound of many gongs played in concert together and with other sacred sound instruments. The evening begins with a Kundalini kriya to create deep release, and is followed by a special guided Yoga Nidra relaxation with Mehtab Benton. Gongs and singing bowls create a 31-minute soundscape designed to balance the five tattvas (elements) of the energy body.
Master of the Gong, Mehtab Benton created the DVD instructional course How To Play the Gong for Yoga, Meditation and Healing. His book, Teaching Gong Yoga: Theory and Practice, is the first comprehensive book on using the gong in all the practices and traditions of yoga. The latest book by Mehtab, Gong Therapy: Sound Healing and Yoga, explores using the gong in a client-centered practice for yoga teachers and therapists. Mehtab has practiced and taught Kundalini Yoga since 1974.
